Our Teaching Staff

Our teachers come from a variety of different backgrounds, some are teaching or have taught for the University of Oxford and some are well-established local tutors. Our experienced and welcoming faculty offers ORA students a diverse range of teaching specialties and skills. In addition, ORA alumni students have rated the teaching as one of the best aspects of their experiences in Oxford, many reporting a perfect 10. The informal interaction between faculty and students, combined with an international mix of students makes for a truly fascinating learning environment.

Our Teaching Model

At ORA we emulate the famous tutorial system of Oxford and Cambridge Universities as far as possible. Our tutors are responsible for providing exceptional academic courses, our activity leaders are responsible for providing engaging sporting and social events, while our student consellors are on-hand at the college main site to provide support and guidance to the students throughout their stay with us. In addition to these staff and the college porters who are there 24h a day, there are always a number of residential staff availible on the collge site 24h a day in case of emergency.
